    Effects of Nitrogen Fertilizer Management on Nutrient Uptake and Yield of Direct‐Seeding Rice under Long‐Term Integrated Rice‐Crayfish Model

    In order to provide technical support for the high‐yield,high‐quality,high‐efficiency and ecological cultivation of rice under long‐term integrated rice‐crayfish model,a field experiment was carried out to study the effects of different nitrogen managements(base nitrogen accounted for 50%,40%,30%,20%,0 and no nitrogen fertilizer,respectively)on the nutrient uptake and yield of direct‐seedingrice under long‐term integrated rice‐crayfish model with rice monoculture model as control.The results showed that the 20% and 0 treatments under the long‐term integrated rice‐crayfish model,and 30% and 20% treatments under the rice monoculture model,were good for nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium absorption of rice.Under the same nitrogen fertilizer management,the long‐term integrated rice‐crayfish model could promote the absorption of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium compared with the rice monoculture model.The rice yields of 20% and 0 treatments were significantly higher than the other treatments under the long‐term integrated rice‐crayfish model,and those of 30%,20% and 0 treatments were significantly higher than the other treatments under the rice monoculture model,which were mainly achieved by increasing the effective panicle number and seed setting rate.The rice yield under the long‐term rice‐crayfish co‐cropping mode increased by 11.1% on average compared with that under the rice monoculture model,which was mainly achieved by increasing the effective panicle number.With the decrease of the ratio of base nitrogen,the same trend as rice yield was found in nitrogen fertilizer partial productivity,agronomic efficiency,apparent utilization efficiency and contribution rate under the two models. Compared with the rice monoculture model,the long‐term integrated rice‐crayfish model greatly increased partial productivity and apparent utilization efficiency of nitrogen fertilizer by 9.5% and 21.3% respectively,but decreased the agronomic efficiency and contribution rate of nitrogen fertilizer.In summary,the recommended ratios of base nitrogen were 20% and 0 under the long‐term integrated
    rice‐crayfish model.

    Association Analysis of Rhizosphere Soil Microbial Community and Rice Yield in Rice‑Crab Farming System

    In order to study the correlation of the structure and function of rhizosphere soil microbial community with rice growth and yield indexes in co‑cropping paddy field,the rice‑crab farming paddy field(HXTCS)with bio‑organic fertilizer and the paddy field only with bio‑organic fertilizer(YJTCS)as a control were set up to determine the root length,plant height,spike length,grain number per spike and 1 000‑grain quality of rice;Macrogenome sequencing technology and Spearman correlation were used to analyze the correlation of rice growth and yield indexes with community structure and function at maturity.The results showed that compared with YJTCS,the grain number per spike and 1 000‑grain quality of rice in the rice‑crab farming paddy field were significantly improved( P<0. 05).The relative abundances of Proteobacteria,Actinobacteria and Euryarchaeota decreased by 5.71%,16.12%,and 51.01%,respectively,while the relative abundance of Chloroflexi,Acidobacteria and Verrucomicrobia increased by 23. 35%,41.36% and 50.00%,respectively.The Chao index,Ace index and Shannon index in HXTCS soil were 11.22%,7.54% and 2.00% lower than those in the control group,respectively.The results of PCA analysis showed that the overall microbial community structure was significantly different between the two treatments. Spearman analysis showed that Chloroflexi was significantly negatively correlated with plant height and panicle length,grain number per spike was significantly or extremely significantly positively correlated with Acidobacteria,Gemmatimonadetes_d_Bacteria,Bacteroidetes and Verrucomicrobia. Rhizosphere soil microbial COG(clustering of protein neighbors),KEGG(Kyoto Gene and Genome Encyclopedia)and carbohydrate active enzyme functional annotations of the rhizosphere soil microbial community were all related to rice growth and yield indexes to varying degrees.In conclusion,introduction of crab into the bio‑organic fertilizer paddy field is beneficial to the improvement of rice yield indexes,which is related to the changes in the structure and function of rhizosphere soil microbial community.

    Effects of Different Duck Varieties on Soil Physical and Chemical Properties,Rice Yield and Economic Benefit of Rice‐Duck Symbiosis System

    The effects of teal(SY),muscovy duck(YY) and mallard(LTY) on soil physical and chemical properties,rice yield and economic benefit of rice‐duck symbiosis system were studied using conventional rice monoculture as control(CK),so as to provide a theoretical basis for duck species selection and mode optimization in rice‐duck symbiosis system.The results showed that compared with CK,the total nitrogen,total phosphorus,total potassium,alkali‐hydrolyzable nitrogen and available phosphorus contents of soil generally decreased,available potassium content and pH value increased,but organic matter content did not have significant differences under the three rice‐duck symbiosis treatments.The effective panicles number,seed‐setting rate and yields of YY and LTY treatments significantly increased,while the total grains number per panicle significantly decreased.The effective panicles number,seed‐setting rate and yield of SY treatment increased,but the difference was not significant.The economic benefits of the three rice‐duck symbiotic treatments all improved,and the order was YY>LTY>SY>CK.In conclusion,rice‐duck symbiosis promoted the absorption of soil nutrients by rice,improved soil acidification,increased rice yield and economic benefit,and YY treatment was the best,followed by LTY treatment.

    Effect of Different Rice‐Fish Modes on Yield and Quality of Ratooning Rice

    The effects of different rice‐fish modes[rice‐crucian(FR),rice‐loach(LR),conventional cultivation(CK)]on yield and quality of Yliangyou 800 and Huanghuazhan were studied in first season and regeneration season,so as to lay a theoretical foundation for the further improvement of ratooning rice quality.The results showed that the FR treatment could significantly increase the total yield of ratooning rice compared with CK,and the increasing ranges of Huanghuazhan and Yliangyou 800 were 10.31%and 9.80%respectively,while there was no significant difference between LR treatment and CK.The brown rice rate and polished rice rate of the two varieties in regeneration season were both higher than those in first season.The head rice rate of Huanghuazhan significantly increased by 20.16—22.25 percentage points in regeneration season compared with first season,the brown rice rates of LR treatment were the highest in two seasons,and the brown rice rates of Yliangyou 800 of FR treatment were the highest in two seasons. The chalky grain rate and chalkiness degree of the two varieties in regeneration season were significantly lower than those in first season,and the chalky grain rate and chalkiness degree of LR treatment were the lowest in first season. The length‐width ratios of the two varieties were higher in regeneration season than those in first season,and there was no significant difference between LR,FR treatments and CK. The pasting temperature of Huanghuazhan in regeneration season was significantly lower than that in first season,while Yliangyou 800 showed the opposite result. Compared with CK,the gel consistencies of the two varieties of LR and FR treatments significantly increased by 27.12%—52.24% and 12.54%—29.35% respectively in first season,but the gel consistency of the two varieties of LR treatment significantly decreased in regeneration season.The amylose content of the two varieties was significantly higher in regeneration season than that in first season,and the amylose content of LR treatment was the lowest. The protein content of the two varieties was higher in regeneration season than that in first season,LR treatment had the highest value except for Huanghuazhan in first season,and LR and FR treatments were significantly higher than CK in regeneration season.Overall,FR model could significantly improve the total yield of ratooning rice,and FR and LR models could improve the rice quality with different degrees in first season and regeneration season.

    Effect of Rice‑Fish‑Chicken Symbiosis on Paddy Soil Nutrient and Rice Yield under Ridge Cultivation

    Four treatments were set up,including rice‑fish‑chicken pattern under ridge cultivation(RFC),rice‑fish pattern under ridge cultivation(RF),rice‑chicken pattern under ridge cultivation(RC)and rice ridge cultivation(CK),and the effects of rice‑fish‑chicken symbiosis on soil nutrient and rice yield were studied under ridge cultivation,so as to provide scientific basis for the development and popularization of rice‑fish‑chicken pattern. The results showed that compared with CK,RC and RFC treatments increased the contents of soil total nitrogen and total phosphorus at mature stage in two‑year experiments,and the total phosphorus contents of RC and RFC treatments were significantly higher than those of CK;the contents of alkali‑hydrolyzable nitrogen and available phosphorus of RC and RFC treatments were significantly higher than those of CK at mature stage in two‑year experiments,the contents of available potassium of RFC treatment were significantly higher than those of CK at full heading stage in two‑year experiments;the soil organic matter contents of RFC,RC and RF treatments were significantly higher than those of CK at mature stage in two‑year experiments. In 2018,the rice yield of RF treatment increased by 5. 75% compared with CK,and there was no significant difference among the treatments. In 2019,the rice yields of RFC,RC and RF treatments significantly increased by16. 29%,14. 03% and 9. 35% compared with CK respectively. In conclusion,RC and RFC treatments can improve soil nutrient content and rice yield,and could be used as the optimal patterns for comprehensive cultivation in paddy field,especially RFC treatment.

    The effects of long-term integrated rice-crayfish model(CR) on the yield and nitrogen use efficiency of direct seeding rice under different nitrogen application rates were studied with monoculture mode of rice(MR) as control,and the best nitrogen application rates were determined under the two modes.The results showed that compared with MR model,the rice yield of CR model increased by 16.3%,which was mainly achieved by increasing the effective spike number.The partial productivity of nitrogen fertilizer,agronomic efficiency of nitrogen fertilizer and the apparent use efficiency of nitrogen increased by 15.3%,
    7.6% and 22.7% under CR model compared with those under MR models respectively.The rational nitrogen fertilizer amounts for the direct-seeding rice determined by linear+platform model were 102.4 kg/ha and 139.6 kg/ha under CR and MR models respectively.The nitrogen fertilizer amount of the direct-seeding rice under CR model decreased by 26.6% compared with that under MR model.Therefore,the longterm CR model could significantly increase rice yield,reduce the application rate of nitrogen fertilizer and improve the use efficiency of nitrogen fertilizer.
