1.Scope and Column This journal mainly publishes basic and applied research reports on new achievements and technologies in the field of agricultural research.The manuscript should be with grounded arguments, reliable evidence, accurate data, concise writing, and clear structure.The content should be scientific, advanced, practical and innovative.Columns include: Reviews, Crop Cultivation and Genetic Breeding, Agricultural Resources and Environment, Plant Protection, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Information and Engineering, and Agricultural Product Processing.
2. Format Manuscript should include title (preferably no more than 20 Chinese characters), author names, institutes, abstracts (about 500 Chinese characters), keywords (5-8 words), main body text and references.The following information should be indicated at the bottom of the title page: source and number of funding project, introduction of the first author (year of birth, gender, place of birth,professional title, education or degree, research direction, E-mail).If necessary, a brief introduction of the corresponding author should also be included.All articles should have English translation of title, abstract, keywords, author names and institutes.
3. Abstracts The Chinese and English abstracts are to provide a brief overview of the manuscript content, and must cover the main information in the paper.An abstract of research paper should include four elements, namely objective, methods, results (quantified, in detail), and conclusion, and avoid incomplete or unproportionate information.Each element must be explained in complete sentences,without comments or supplementary explanations in first person perspective.
4. Main Body Text Research paper should include introduction, materials and methods, results and analysis, conclusions and discussions, etc.The introduction should include complete elements such as research significance, previous achievement, trigger for this study, and key issues to be addressed.Titles at all levels shall be consecutively numbered with Arabic numerals, separated by dots, eg,1,1.1,1.1.1.
5. Figures and Tables The quantity relationship in the text should be expressed using figures and tables as much as possible.Figures and tables should be limited in number, precise, self-explanatory, and placed after the text where the content is mentioned.Figures should be of appropriate size and proportion, with high resolute (with pixels of 300 or more), and complete annotation.All tables should adopt three-line style.Headings, annotations, and contents in figures and tables should be both in Chinese and English.
6. Terminology The use of professional terminology should be standardized.
7. Units of Measurement For the use of units of measurement, the national legal units and symbols should be adopted.
8. Letters and Symbols Please ensure the format of letters is correct, including the use of upper/lower case, italic font, superscript/subscript, etc.Pay attention to easily confused numbers, symbols, and letters. Variables in formula should be italicized.
9. References It is important to indicate the source of references in the text.There should be at least 20 references for each article, and the proportion of literature published in the latest 5 years should be more than two thirds.The references shall be numbered according to the order of citation in the text.Chinese references should have English translations.For each reference, only the first three authors are listed, followed by "et al".the literature type code shall be marked at the end of each reference. The format of references should comply with GB/T 7714-2015.
10. Submission Methods Manuscripts should be submitted in Word format through the official website (http://www.hnnykx.org.cn).Please indicate the name, institute, address, phone number, postal code, and other information of the contact person of the article.After receiving manuscript, the editorial office will inform authors of review status within 2-3 weeks.If there is no notice sent to authors within 2 months, it can be deemed as rejected.Please don't submit more than one journal.
11.Copyright Authors must upload the Copyright Transfer Agreement when submitting their manuscripts.This journal has been indexed by series of databases and online publishing platforms including CAB Abstracts, EBSCO, China Journal Fulltext Database (CJFD), China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, Weipu, and Chaoxing,etc. Once a manuscript is published, it will be included in all databases mentioned above.Additionally, the accepted and revised manuscripts will be published online before print publishing.If the authors disagree, please declare upon submission, and the editorial office will handle it appropriately.Otherwise, it will be deemed as agreement.Authors shall take full responsibility for their submitted manuscripts.In order to meet the requirements of editing and publishing, this journal has the right to modify and delete the manuscripts.
12. Fees：After the manuscript is accepted, an APC shall be payable.The charging standard is RMB 450 yuan per page.
